Music is the universal language that binds the world together as one. Through music, people from all walks of life are able to relate with each other, are able to understand each other and are able to love each other. And like music, every note should be heard to achieve harmony and that is the very foundation that gave birth to Amicizia E Musica.

Amicizia E Musica was founded in April of 2002. The brainchild of music aficionados, Stephen Chan (Baritone) and Carol Anne Brigette (Soprano), Amicizia became a household name, having produced 16 major concerts featuring various renowned classical artists and has appeared in over 200 performances in front of over 30,000 audience throughout its third year in 2005.

Amicizia believes in the power of music and this is the driving factor that fuels this ministry to bring more quality performances for its San Diego patrons. Each Amicizia show is a product of hard work and a collaboration of professionals in the field of classical music.

Amicizia’s main artists, Chan and Brigette, known as San Diego’s fast-rising classical duo, has captivated audiences of all ages through their superb performances that consist of Opera, Classical, Oratorio, Broadway, Pop, Contemporary and Traditional, Christian and Kundiman, just to name a few. Fired by their passion to share their God-given talent, they continue to bring San Diego their one-of-a-kind music.

Chan and Brigette’s music is known to attract audience with discriminating tastes and is very popular among various San Diego communities. Church events, opera nights, festivals and community events are just some of the many avenues you can traverse to witness their performances.

Their talents have been proudly showcased in various occasions such as the Filipino Nights at Viejas Casino, The San Diego Arts Festival at Westgate Hotel, Concerts at Sherwood Auditorium, Opera Nights at Alfierre’s and Little Italy. Their audience is composed of diverse communities from all age groups.
